She’s paving the way for the trailblazers.

It is funny to think that if feminism is successful, newspapers will be printing quotes like the one below a hundred years from now (and two hundred, etc).  From the Daily Mail Female college football player Toni Harris dreams of being first woman to play in the NFL:

‘Being a role model, it’s an honor, but it’s also a privilege because not every day everybody can stand up and be a role model for other people. And it’s kind of hard. It’s a lot of pressure, but I mean, I’m just paving the way for the next little girl that’s gonna come along and be a role model as well.’

  1. For those of us not familiar with football, is it likely that she can play defensive back (she’s now a free safety) in the NFL? She is 5-foot-7, 164-pounds.

The smallest defensive ends now playing in the NFL are 5′ 10″. The lightest is 177 lbs.

    https://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2017/3/5/14811954/2017-nfl-combine-results-defensive-backs-jamal-adams-marshon-lattimore

Also, she missed the first part of the 2017 season because of “health reasons, ” No details given. Hit too hard?

  2. feeriker says:

Toni Harris’s future is that of a wheelchair-bound quadriplegic- if she’s lucky. More likely it’s that of a corpse that died as a result of massive injuries suffered on the field.

The only way that Harris will avoid that future is when –not if— the NFL changes the game rules to prohibit physical contact against female players by male players, with penalties so severe that no male player in his right mind will ever want to be on the same field with a woman.

It’s coming, guys. You know it’s coming, and that it will spell the death of professional football, exactly like the SJWs want. The other night’s unwatchable Super Bowl (the last one I’ve sworn I’ll ever watch) serves as evidence that the process is already underway.

When women enter brutal male spaces, like the military or football, and are asked if they’re tough enough, I’ve heard some reply, “We soliders [players] look out for each other.”

What they mean is, there’s no need to worry. Her comrades will protect her, because that’s what soldiers/players have always done.

But they omit that women can’t reciprocate. Soldiers/players engage in mutual self-protection. (It’s part of the male bonding experience.) But women soldiers/players can’t protect the men. And women require more than their fair share of protection. Women are dead weight. An anchor on the combat unit/team.

Women do like to pretend that they’re “just one of the guys.” As though they can participate in male bonding.

  5. Frank K says:

She’ll probably get signed and will be on some team’s practice squad, where no one will hit her hard. A big deal will be made, even though she will never play a regular or preseason game, for obvious reasons.

Curiously,a sport where you might think women could compete with men (but they can’t), namely soccer, has so far avoided coed teams in male leagues and male world cup play, and for good reason: the women just can’t keep up. They’re too slow and too weak. The much vaunted US Women’s National Team scrimmages with high school boys teams, and typically loses to them. If they were to play men they would be blown out.

This “trailblazing” reminds me of the old story about the primitive shaman.
An anthropologist is interviewing a tribe, and asks questions such as “what holds up the world?”. The shaman confidently replies that the world rests on the back of a turtle.
“What is under the turtle?” asks the anthropologist.
    “Another turtle…”
    And beneath that turtle?
Another turtle. It is turtles all the way down!”

What we got is “Trailblazers”, trailblazers with moxie, all the way down.

She is too short to be a DB in the NFL or at a major college. The NFL measures speed and strength with the 40 yard dash, bench press and squat. Of course the article doesn’t mention what she does in those areas because if they did that would point out the absurdity of her goal.

We see the end result of this nonsense in the recent video of two women fighting a man twice their size at a hot dog stand. The guy would knock the women down and instead of running away they kept charging the guy and getting knocked down. If the guy hadn’t ran away, these two dumb women would have gotten killed.

    Off Topic:

This is about Dr. Paul Maxwell, who’s made a splash around these parts with a video called “Evangelical Culture is Beta Culture”. Here’s the video.

A couple of days ago i heard an audio file of a show called “Doctrine and Devotion” where he derided “Red Pill Christians”. I left a comment on one of Dr. Maxwell’s blogs. That comment is still in moderation. Here’s the gist of it:

    Dr. Maxwell:

This is quite off topic but didn’t know where to leave this. I don’t even know if you still read comments here or if this is still an active blog.

You were a guest on Doctrine and Devotion late last year or early this year. You talked about your post on SelfWire called “evangelical culture is beta culture” and then talked about how the Red Pill community had picked up on it. You said that Red Pill Christians are a bunch of guys who had bad experiences with women and are really bitter. You also said that Red Pill Christians are hypermacho and are seeking to sleep with as many women as they can and be total “alpha males”. You then said that your video “evangelical culture is beta culture” was intended to bring balance to men – stop being so passive and compliant, and that men need to be more masculine in their actions, conduct, speech and decisionmaking.

I can tell you, Dr. Maxwell, that the Red Pill Christian community latched onto your Evangelical Culture is Beta Culture video because it resonated with so many of us. But you’re wrong in most of your conclusions about us.

The men you were deriding have been massively, massively injured – by their women, their wives, their ex wives, their mothers, their fathers, the church – literally everyone in their lives. They trusted these people to tell them the truth about life, women, sexual nature, and all the rest of it. They trusted these people to help them as boys. And they all failed. On a massive scale. And they have struggled and are struggling to put their lives back together with no help from anyone, least of all from the church. No, all these men get from the church are feeble entreaties to “man up” and “stop being so depressed and paranoid” and “get back on your feet” and “it is all your fault your women left you”.

The men you were deriding heard your video on Evangelical Culture and were buoyed by it because they believed someone finally understood what they finally had figured out – that today’s modern church culture is a huge beta factory that encourages passivity, timidity, effeminacy and compliance at the expense of boldness, industriousness, bravery, and initiative.

You see, Dr. Maxwell, the men you were talking about in your video – beta men, compliant, passive, effeminate, timid men who aren’t good at anything but church – these Red Pill Christians are those men. They were raised to be exactly what you said, because they were told that it was good, masculine, beneficial and praiseworthy. But these men have suffered mightily because of it. And they are trying to achieve what you are talking about – balance. They are trying to remain true to the Christ they love while increasing their own masculinity and shedding their past destructive beta traits. They are trying to achieve that balance you are talking about. They don’t need to hear about how they need to be nicer – they have “nice” down pat. What these men are trying to do is move further to the “alpha” end of the scale. Isn’t that what you were talking about in your video?

The thing you’re hearing about and reading in the Red Pill Christian communities is pain – pain that you misinterpret as hypermachismo and “toxic” masculinity. I would have thought, with your background in trauma, that you would have understood that that was what you were seeing. Dr. Maxwell, these men are hurting. They are in enormous amounts of mental, emotional, and spiritual pain. Everything they thought they knew and understood about God, the world, church, theology, human nature, that was taught to them by the church – all of it has been exposed as a tremendous web of lies. And these men are working through it. And they viewed your video as a welcome breath of fresh air. “Finally — Someone who gets it. Someone in the Church, one of us, who gets it.” But you misread what you were seeing. How unfortunate.

Thank you for reading this, if you do. I hope you have a somewhat better understanding of the Red Pill Christian community. We’re on your side. I hope you’re on ours.

    Let’s compare and contrast.
Gronkowski of the NE Patriots made a couple of important pass receptions Sunday.
His playing position is tight end. Not running back, pass receiver.

He is 6’1″ tall and weighs 268 pounds.

I believe that should answer the question…

I thought you didn’t comment on other blogs often?

To answer your question, she couldn’t play on my rural Canadian high school team at her size. To think she’s going to play in the NFL makes her a laughingstock to anyone not drinking her KoolAid. David Buehler was a kicker for Dallas a while back who out benched some OTs when he did 225 25x, a 4.56 40 (which would put him in the higher end of LBs) and was 6’2″, 225. This was a kicker, mind you. He was faster than Cushing and stronger than Maualuga, both college teammate linebackers.

She’s a college aged woman so she’s more or less done her growing. She’s going to die on the field or turn into Darryl Stingley… if she were to ever actually see the field as anything other than a publicity stunt or the gift akin to a Down’s Syndrome equipment manager.

The fact that they got into it with that dood reveals just how effective the Total Fem Mindwipe has been over the past fifty years, especially. When I’m in America, no question, females definitely believe they are empowered to berate, accuse, slap, kick, or punch me w/o retaliation. Any disagreement on my part with anything they say or do is met with immediate physical attack. They are well-aware that the State has their back and will cover their bullying malevolence.

Those Grrrls kept getting up and rushing that guy because US females now believe in the invulnerability sold to them these many decades. They were sure that — despite extant reality — they could ‘take down’ that pig patriarch, and if not, well then the cops/bystanders/etc. would certainly handle the ‘bad guy’. And that dood knew it too, which is why he vamoosed; inevitably, the Feminist State DID come after him. How DARE he defend himself?!

I’m reading The Marvelous Land of Oz to my daughter. Ray6777’s anecdote reminds me of General Jinjur’s revolution:

“May I ask why you wish to conquer His Majesty the Scarecrow?”
“Because the Emerald City has been ruled by men long enough, for one reason,” said the girl.
“Moreover, the City glitters with beautiful gems, which might far better be used for rings, bracelets and necklaces; and there is enough money in the King’s treasury to buy every girl in our Army a dozen new gowns. So we intend to conquer the City and run the government to suit ourselves.”
Jinjur spoke these words with an eagerness and decision that proved she was in earnest.
“But war is a terrible thing,” said Tip, thoughtfully.
“This war will be pleasant,” replied the girl, cheerfully.
“Many of you will be slain!” continued the boy, in an awed voice.
“Oh, no”, said Jinjur. “What man would oppose a girl, or dare to harm her? And there is not an ugly face in my entire Army.”

  26. Otto Lamp says:

“For those of us not familiar with football, is it likely that she can play defensive back (she’s now a free safety) in the NFL? She is 5-foot-7, 164-pounds.”

    No.

Women carry most of their weight (and muscle) from the waist down; men from the waist up (hence the head against wall standup joke: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWNhBOJWnW8, women are bottom heavy; men top-heavy).

At 164 pounds she would be light for an NFL DB (although maybe not for some college teams). But at that weight, she would have so little muscle on her upper body, she would quickly get injured.

Speaking of quick, Defensive Backs are usually the fasted people on the team, because not only do they have to keep up with wide receivers, they have to catch back up with them after they make a cut. In the 100 yard dash, female olympians are often a full second slower than their male counterparts. Even if she roided up and managed to build up the muscle in her upper body, there is no chance that she has the speed to play DB in the NFL.

  27. Larry Kummer

  40. OK, I’m going to try and be nice about this.
East Los Angeles Community College (ELACC) is a 2 year community college offering Associates Degree’s only – basically a prep school for high school grads with poor grades and poor college admissions test scores to right their ship and get into university system schools a year or two later than most. This is common in LA because the LA unified school district is one of the worse public school system in the entire nation with schools have APIs (Academic Performance Index scores) in the 400s because of the pervasiveness of single mothers, high crime, not to mention a plundering of municipal and state tax funds by the teachers union and pension liabilities.

The ELACC football roster says she is a 5’5″ cornerback and weighs 164 lbs!!!!!
The Daily Mail article says she is actually 5’6″ and 163 lbs. to which I call complete bullshit.

    http://www.elacathletics.com/sports/fball/2018-19/roster

She is a sophomore and played in only three football games, 2 of them blowout wins, the other a blowout loss (i.e. clean up, scrub play).
She recorded 3 tackles and one pass breakup. One TFL for for -24 years so that’s impressive but not a solo tackle.
    http://www.elacathletics.com/sports/fball/2018-19/bios/harris_toni_ckgo?view=gamelog&pos=d

Glad to see she has earned scholarships to other 4 year degree programs, but it cannot possibly be due to her football play, but rather academic scholarship.

Also, there is no way in hell this woman is going to play at the NFL level or anything remotely close to that.

  41. Correction: ELACC football roster says she weight 155 lbs last season!!! Que ridiculo!

Frank K acknowledges that they can’t and yet he is right that on your side of the pond the idea that females could perhaps compete at any level is assumed as possible. It isn’t. It is not just that they do not have the stamina to run in boots and at speed for ninety minutes and more or that they just do not have the reflexes, skills and power in their legs but by reason of their size and frailty will be pushed aside, trodden underfoot, and maneuvered out of the game. Suffice it to say, where I am, women attempting to play Soccer is seen as very tired joke.

If you want to annoy an American fan of female soccer, just tell them that outside of the USA no one cares about the ladies world cup.

I had a male coworker who a few years ago was waxing about the then ongoing ladies world cup. He asked me (knowing that I follow soccer) which match I liked the most. When I told him that I don’t watch the women’s world cup he was aghast. Him: “Why not?” Me: “Because the level of play is utterly inferior. High school boys play better..” And then I said it: :”And outside of the USA, no one cares about it.” Ooooh, that chapped his hide.

My son used to play youth club soccer (which in general is considered superior to High School Soccer). Even though they were in the boy’s league once in a while they would play another club with one or more girls on the team. The unspoken rule was that they were supposed to “go easy” on the girls, which my son’s team refused to do. Often after a strong slide tackle on the girl she would limp off the field in tears. The ref would then tell the boys to go easy on her (the slide tackle was perfectly legal, so no carding), an admonition which they immediately ignored. Youth soccer allows for unlimited subs, but by the second half young wonder girl would stay on the bench, as she no doubt knew she was out of her league.

Some people claim that girls have “better touch” and are thus better dribblers, but I never saw that on the field. My son, who played central defender, wouldn’t have any problems stripping the ball from them.

This happens all the time. And I wouldn’t be surprised if the boys held back. Now, to be fair, this wasn’t some random youth club from the Dallas area, this was FC Dallas’ (a men’s professional team) youth team, who are probably the best youth players in the Dallas area. Yeah, not FC Barcelona or Man U’s youth team. But I’ll bet any Elite League (youth soccer is tiered into leagues or division by talent and performance, and Elite, as the name suggests, are the best) boys U15 team from any city in the US could easily beat the USWNT, Now imaging a U18 team. It would be blowout, like 20-0, which is why the women scrimmage with U15 boys,

I wonder what age category could the women beat? U9?

If she’s successful, then look for the NFL to immediately start rewriting their rules to protect females from being injured by much stronger males as under the present paradigm females will not just be beat but they will be beaten and end up injured from the hard contact of the game.

Football will become feminized (like the game of baseball morphed into underhanded slow-pitch softball to accommodate females) and the NEW rules will be designed to benefit females at the expense of the natural male athletic superiority that men have over women as a rule.

CNN, MSNBC, NYT, etc… will all celebrate the change and leftard pundits will write lots of articles defending the new rules while falsely claiming they aren’t being implemented for the benefit of women. Anyone who dissents from the new feminized version of football will be called a lot of names by the left. Professional football (RIP).

Sounds like the XFL’s return couldn’t be better timed.

    @ Billy

I really hope that was staged.

  63. Nick Mgtow says:

American: people might watch at first, but the viewer base might punish the NFL really hard. Like says Gary V, the biggest believe they’re too big to fail or too big to care about what their customers want.

  64. BillyS says:

I doubt it Oscar. Some women really are that self absorbed, unfortunately.

  65. Opus says:

Speaking as a former player registered with the Football Association and thus on most Saturdays afternoons at away matches to be found at a distant location on some windswept pitch ankle deep in mud, I have never come across a pitch where a match was being played by girls – ever. That surely gives an idea of just how uninterested females are in playing Soccer and it is not even as if they came to cheer us on, they didn’t. For girls, Saturday afternoon means shopping. I also played (for a lesser team) on Sunday mornings and although a few girls (the shops not being open) would come and watch, again I have never come across women playing the beautiful game. Presumably that is all changing as girls are indoctrinated into the belief that they too can and thus should play Soccer but as Anon says that only makes clear, where it was otherwise hidden, their weakness.

It was Don Revie (or perhaps it was Bill Shankly) who when asked whether Soccer was a matter of Life and Death replied that, no, it was more important than that and truly that is how we think of it over here – Girls can only get in the way.

  66. Bruce says:

They found a girl that’s 6 standard deviations from the average (girl) and she still won’t make it.

  67. Novaseeker says:

The USWNT is indeed good …. at beating other women. That’s it. And they dominate like they do because the US emphasizes competitive team sports for girls more than any other country does, that is the only reason. A part of that is feminism (things like Title IX play a significant role), and a part of that is American culture in general, which places a very strong emphasis on participation and success in competitive team sports for children. That used to be mostly on boys, nut when feminism entered the mix, the emphasis spread to girls as well, so the US now produces a lot of female athletes who are dominant compared to female athletes of other countries — because we spend more time and energy culturally emphasizing athletic success for girls than pretty much any other country does (yes, China does and, to an extent, Russia as well, but these are both state-driven, whereas in the US it’s cultural and the drive starts in families (especially dads) and what they emphasize for their own kids, not with the state looking for athletes who will represent the country well internationally).

As far as American football goes, the whole sport is destined to change. Women coming along is just another piece of the puzzle. The rules have been continually tightening over the years. And we’re also seeing large swathes of white families basically banning participation in the sport for their kids — it’s becoming a much more exclusively black + lower class white sport, now, in terms of participation rates on the HS level and below, with the upper middle and above opting out.

Pozzing sports was only a matter of time.

Given how even the UFC features females beating on each other a really revolting spectacle.

  69. Paul says:

Boys vs women : the match

  70. American says:

@Info: I really don’t bother much with the UFC anymore, as a rule, since they transitioned from a focus on grown men fighting (middle-weight to heavyweight classes) in no holds barred matches to the sporterized midget fights which consume the organization today. Especially the side-show female midgets. I’m talking about dainty 115 lb 5′ 5″ girls like Namajunas and even Rousey is only 135 lbs 5′ 7″.

Oh sure, the UFC employs amazing camera work and skilled announcers to make them look like they’re not these little females. But to me they are midgets that would be stomped out of existence, like Godzilla did Bambi in that old cartoon, by the UFC champions of old in original rule no hold barred cage matches.

People are buying the UFC’s present line of BS for reasons of entertainment but as someone who’s trained martial arts (including Gracie Jiu-Jitsu) in the past and presently works out with weight lifting, I like what the UFC once was and represented before they digressed into side show circus female midget fighting.

I have never come across a pitch where a match was being played by girls – ever.

In my town we have a “sports park” that has about a dozen soccer pitches, which are all in use all day on any Saturday by the local youth club. The split is pretty even between boys and girls teams.

As Novaseeker mentions above, there is a lot of pressure on girls to participate in team sports in the USA, so they play soccer, volleyball, basketball, softball, etc. This is in large part because of University scholarships available, especially females. The daughter of a friend was the recipient of a full softball scholarship to Notre Dame (worth about $35,000 a year, I believe) and I have niece who attended a lesser known college on a soccer scholarship.

Now granted, most girls do not participate in sports, but enough do in the US that it makes a difference in teams like the US women’s national soccer team.

Another interesting trend in youth sports, at least for those who want a college scholarship, is that in most case (with American Football and Basketball being a major exception), you have to play for a private club to get noticed the College scouts, who pretty much don’t bother with high school sports anymore. Of course, playing on a private club team can cost $$$$. I have been told that if your child is on an elite private soccer team, that you can easily spend $5000 a year on club fees, special training fees, tournament fees and of course travel costs to said tournaments, which can involve airfare.

  72. Can’t wait until we get the first panspecies asexual in the remaining Sport league! That will be a date for all future generations to remember, if there are any.
