Ugly feminists high on rage.

Anonymous Reader just linked to a new piece at the Washington Post that opens with:

A flood of rage is rushing through women’s brains. Why can’t men organize to change themselves?

The author brags about going on an extended hysterical tirade against her husband, describing wave after wave of uncontrollable rage.  She closes the piece with a warning.  Men had better do what she wants, or there will be hell to pay:

Pay attention people: If we do not raise boys to walk humbly and care deeply, if we do not demand that men do more than just listen, we will all drown in the flood [of women’s rage]. And there is no patriarchal Noah to save us.

Earlier today gdgm+ linked to a different piece from earlier this year where a feminist warned that women’s rage was tearing apart liberal men’s marriages:

…a phrase I’ve heard most frequently by women who have found themselves rightly riled, women who have perhaps never before—until recently—cited themselves as feminists report the fury, the frustration, the foundational shift as it’s occurring in the men they love so fiercely and the relationships that hold them as a consequence to the male gaze gazing now at their woman, riled.

This isn’t a coincidence.  Feminists in the media are high on rage right now.  It has given them power, and they want more.  The Nation has a new piece out today on The Politics of Women’s Anger.  NBC News has a video out titled It’s time for women to embrace their rage.   Not to be outdone, The Atlantic has it’s own video out titled The Seismic Power of Women’s Rage:

In America today, women are angry. But this isn’t a modern phenomenon, argues the author Rebecca Traister. In her new book, Good and Mad: The Revolutionary Power of Women’s Anger, Traister details how female rage has long been the country’s political fuel.

I think the feminists are (in the near term) overplaying their hand here, but it is easy to understand how they got there.  Men’s desire to appease women’s anger and complaining has been an enormous source of power for decades (and will continue to be moving forward).  Recently, turning up the rage turned up the power.  But there is an ugliness threshold where most men will check out and large numbers of women will be repelled.  We are at or near that threshold.  This isn’t the kind of anger that makes chivalrous men salivate in anticipation of out groveling the other men in the room.  This is the kind of anger that makes the women complaining look flat out crazy, hysterical.

But feminists shouldn’t worry.  My guess is this won’t do much (if any) lasting harm to the movement.  In the meantime, brace yourself for a series of articles and videos about the rage that is being spawned by the fact that women’s rage isn’t working like it should.

    What exactly do they want?

Do they want men to change from their role as a head to the submissive helpmate…which often makes women unhappy and angry?

Do they want men to change back to the head because they thought women wanted them to be the submissive helpmate…which often makes feminists unhappy and angry?

Do they want men to give up their responsibilities or take them back?

Again it goes back to something often pointed out here…when women decided to change their role…they became unhappy. There is nothing men can do to change which will overcome this.

  3. TheWanderer says:

Oh, we’re ‘organizing’ to change ourselves, but not in the ‘build a better beta’ sort of way. Men are checking OUT. This should get very entertaining!

  4. Novaseeker says:

    What exactly do they want?

These sorts of radical feminist harpies? They want a men’s movement to grow that shames other men into de-masculinizing themselves — that is, that shames “toxic masculinity” (which is a term that covers *all* conventional masculinity prior to 2018), and shames men into behaving in a more soft, feminine, nurturing, empathetic mode. The goal is to defang men, essentially. And the radfems like this crazy bitch know that women can’t force men to do this, so they want to goad men into forcing other men to do it.

Thing is, they don’t understand that men don’t work like this. There is a hierarchy among men, and it will never be based on empathy, softness, nurturing or the like. So there will be no movement of any size around this. It’s been tried (look at Michael Kimmel) and it has failed. It would fail again. Men will always have a hierarchy that revolves around power, strength, status, and this will determine access to the most desirable jobs, powerful positions, and women. Always will be so. A radfem like this is basically shaking her fist at the moon.

But all of that is beside the point. The point of this article is to rile up the radfem base to get out and vote for the midterms — that’s it. She knows what she is proposing will never happen, so it’s the perfect goal — one which can never be reached, and therefore can always be trotted out as a justified source of politicized rage, which tends to generate votes. Clever, among the radical feminist set it is aimed at.

  5. Gunner Q says:

It’s Trump Derangement Syndrome. Signaling rage is the Left’s way of warning that if it loses big in the upcoming election, which it will, then they’ll resort to 1970s-style terrorism. Movements such as Antifa are already willing to go. Heck, the NY Republican headquarters has just been vandalized:

    https://abc7ny.com/politics/ny-gop-headquarters-vandalized-ahead-of-far-right-speaker/4469290/

UPPER EAST SIDE, Manhattan (WABC) — The New York Republican New York City headquarters at the Metropolitan Republican Club was vandalized Thursday evening.

It happened around 1:30 a.m. at the location on East 83rd Street on Upper East Side, where windows were broken, doors were spray-painted and glue was put in the locks and on the handles. A threatening message was also left at the scene, telling Republicans the “attack is merely beginning.” …

The vandalism happened one day before the organization hosts Gavin McInnes, founder of the far-right men’s organization Proud Boys.

Liberals are signaling rage because they’ll burn the world before they lose control of it… and they’re losing control of it, as demonstrated by Kavanaugh’s seating. I saw a bumper sticker on a Liberal’s car last week that read “Save Abortion, Stop Kavanaugh”. That’s what these women are upset about; the feral skank will not go quietly into that kitchen.

  6. Anonymous Reader says:

Imagine this: a man who is tenured history faculty writes an article in which he lays out that the Kavanaugh inquisition so offended him that he yelled at his wife for 30 minutes. What would result?

At the very least, a man yelling at his wife for 30 minutes is committing Domestic Violence, and can be arrested & detained overnight. Likely ordered by a judge to attend 52 weeks of re-education, plus “anger management” training. Possible demotion or loss of tenure at work. Maybe even full retirement to “spend more time with the family”. a

Ms. Tenured Professor is immune to all that. The Duluth Wheel specifically allows her to yell at her husband any time, any where, for as long as she wants, because of the imaginary “power differentiaL” he has over her.

But I am certain that she could not ever see this; to speak of “female privilege” to an American woman is like talking to a goldfish about water. “What is this ‘water’ you speak of? I’ve never seen it…” bubbles the fish in its aquarium.

  7. Burner Prime says:

Vast majority of the commenters are not kind to Victoria Bissell Brown. Some even accusing her of domestic spousal abuse. And not surprising, her man:
He sat, hunched and hurt, and he listened.
Also keep in mind a lot of this outrage is manufactured and artificially inflated by the media.
A prepper website “OrganicPrepper” reminded us to observe reality on the streets, not believe the media. I did and noticed things are much calmer in real life. I encountered hundreds of people (whamens) at several airports (post Kavanaugh) and saw no seething feminist rage, only pleasant smiles. At grocery stores the same. Polite smiles and ‘excuse me’s’ from the whamens. Especially when I give them the stink-eye (which is my default). I travel in some ground-zero feminist and Antifa locales within the country too.
How about the paltry number of protesters at the Kavanaugh confirmation? A pittance at the nation’s capital.
They’re trying to incite rage. It is not grass roots. Nice try ladies!

  8. Chase says:

Why would any man on earth be scared of a woman? The only power they have is to withhold sex – and that’s not a power they have if men collectively decide that won’t do. This world is absurd.

  9. Anonymous Reader says:

    Yes, obviously.

She knows what she is proposing will never happen, so it’s the perfect goal

The beatings will continue. Period. Nothing will ever be good enough. So what should men do?

Notice in the lithub article gdgm+ linked to, the 20-something writer-girl was frustrated because her man left, rather than endure her unending rage. Plus he’s not the only one. And those are the liberal men…

  10. Novaseeker says:

This is basically correct, yes. The current freakout has to do with abortion and the fact that they are mostly scared shitless that Roe will be, if not overturned (which I personally think is unlikely), severely limited in the coming years without any recourse. That’s why progressives are now openly advocating packing the supreme court if they get full legislative/WH power to do so (https://www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/we-need-to-stay-angry-about-kavanaugh/2018/10/07/8385ec9e-ca5c-11e8-920f-dd52e1ae4570_story.html?utm_term=.2f0d4db1b873_) and musing about whether the Supreme Court needs to be hemmed in, now that it may do things that progressives really dislike (https://www.vox.com/2018/10/12/17950896/supreme-court-brett-kavanaugh-constitution).

They are ungluing because they are terrified about what this court may do to what they have themselves “achieved” over the past 5 decades.

  11. SnapperTrx says:

And so it begins. Men will reach a boiling point, and women will meet a rage they have only read of in history and legend. When men, en masse, turn against them no government agency will be able to stop it. It will be like the Purge, and the pendulum will swing wildly in the other direction. Lord help us all on that day.

  12. Jed Mask says:

” There is nothing men can do to change which will overcome this.”

There is. It’s called *BEING A MAN* and making your NO really mean NO, no matter what women (incorrectly) want.

If you even have to go so far as to be perceived a “jerk” than be “bossed around” by women… Do so. I know I do lol but I don’t really intend to be an “intentional jerk” just to be an “a-hole”: I’m only about maintaining my masculine frame as man of Faith.

You let them know you are LEADER and no matter any “emotional manipulations” or “petty childish charades” you don’t tolerate their crap and put those women in their PLACE. Even “physically” if need be in “appropriation”.

    Be SMART and be TOUGH.

“Woe is me” is the domain of BETA males. BETA men who are the only ones letting this mess continue… It’s you BETA MEN keeping this going on. The few natural alphas around that don’t “whoremonger” around don’t have enough manpower behind them to keep the Feminine Imperative in proper check; but I’ll destroy this any good chance I get.

I don’t know about you or any of the men here but I do MY PART the best I CAN with WHAT SMALL POWER I have socially on the larger scale to effect proper change.

    What do YOU do?!

Hate to say it, but if “women acting fools” still gets you scared and worked up you’re just not “man enough” to make your “no” mean “NO!” even if you may have to occasionally wind up in jail or prison to do so (in wisdom however).

People can’t make you do nothing you don’t really want to do. Always remember your *FREE WILL* (for good or bad) and do what needs to be done.

Bro. Earl, there is no excuse here for you, myself or any other “man”.

    Quit making BETA excuses. Amen.

    ~ Bro. Jed

  13. Paul says:

“Why would any man on earth be scared of a woman? The only power they have is to withhold sex”

If men would take control of the Church again, and start enforcing sexual ethics as in 1 Co 7, any married woman withholding sex from her husband would run the risk of being publicly called out on her sin (Mt 18), and in case of persistence, run the risk of being excommunicated (1 Co 5).

  14. Novaseeker says:

Why would any man on earth be scared of a woman? The only power they have is to withhold sex

Yeah, except for things like laws and police and courts and little insignificant stuff like that.

Now, if you were talking about if men collectively had resisted these changes, then you’d be correct, but that isn’t what happened/happens, because men don’t act collectively like that when it comes to women, they act competitively and try to push others down in the hierarchy relative to themselves.

But anyway, yeah, what you wrote there makes no sense at all in 2018. A woman’s word can get you thrown out of college, your job, your house and marriage, get you put in jail and so on. But yeah it’s all just about withholding sex.

  15. feeriker says:

So women are being urged to make themselves even more toxically repulsive than they already are (is that even possible at this point?). The phrase “MGTOW Porn” comes to mind here.

  16. Ray6777 says:

Women have no power over men who avoid being alone with women at work and avoid romantic entanglements. MGTOW has nothing to fear.

  17. American Graffiti says:

Cmon Dalrock, I clicked through for the punchline:

Femminists rage at men to fix their problems

  18. Lost Patrol says:

I read the flood of rage article. Sorry, but I don’t see how she is married to a man at all. Even a terminally blue pill man will not sit still for 30 minutes of that if he retains a molecule of self respect. Something is deeply and fundamentally flawed there if that really did happen.

  21. Jack Russell says:

Even though the percentage of men checking out is not high, it is enough to cause panic among some females. This is why you are seeing feminazis raging as many men are refusing to pander to them. There are many examples, ie low marriage rates, unfair divorce laws. These women have the government as their husband.

  22. earl says:

The only power they have is to withhold sex – and that’s not a power they have if men collectively decide that won’t do. This world is absurd.

I keep saying feminism would die overnight if men quit having ‘the thirst’. Many men have ‘the want’ because they believe just how invaluable or unworthy they are (in regards to women).

We are not working from a position of want, gentlemen…especially if you have that thirst satisfied by the Lord.

  23. earl says:

A woman’s word can get you thrown out of college, your job, your house and marriage, get you put in jail and so on. But yeah it’s all just about withholding sex.

That’s the state, institutions, and corporations you are talking about…and those I certainly would have more concern about. All a woman is doing is usurping what you already have.

  24. earl says:

And the radfems like this crazy bitch know that women can’t force men to do this, so they want to goad men into forcing other men to do it.

Isn’t that the truth. Men know how to emasculate other men much better than any woman can (however the flip side is men can also elevate other men by the positions of authority they are in). All a woman does is take advantage of the system those sackless men created to bring down their brothers.

  27. earl says:

Yes, the bigger thing women will fear is male indifference. The lack of thirst if you will.

Rage is okay with them…really any emotion is.

  28. Anon says:

    Dalrock said :

I am more optimistic. The avenues through which men can check out are rising, and it takes only a minority of men to substantially check out for substantial consequences to fall on women.

  29. Jonadab-the-Rechabite says:

Women have so much to to enraged about like: the highest standard of living in the history of humanity, an unprecedented number of choices in work, clothing, food, transportation and entertainment, indoor plumbing, labor saving devices, unlimited access to literature and knowledge, relative peace and safety, and a Starbucks on every corner. No wonder they are ungrateful.

Nearly every woman in North America lives better than 15 centuries of royality. Instead of gratitude they have chosen grievance. They direct their rage at the source of their comfort, patriarchal men who protected them, provided the labor and innovation that built the modern world. It seems that with every comfort their complaints become louder and more adversarial.

  30. Jonathan Castle says:

“Their power is built on male support. Without that support they are powerless.”

Wrong. Their power flows from the corporate/government axis that created, funded – and even more so today – fuels feminism.

It was never a bottoms-up movement of women – even less men.

It’s always just been about making money for corporation and taxes for government. Oh, and authoritarian socialism for all of us.

Women got played, men got flayed, and this generation of women are paying. …it was all roses and carousels for the previous generations.

  31. Jonathan Castle says:

“A prepper website “OrganicPrepper” reminded us to observe reality on the streets, not believe the media. I did and noticed things are much calmer in real life.”

Totally agree. Many (most?) women are happy that a strong orange man is returning some sanity to our country.

It’s a mistake to tar all women with the vocal, unhinged minority of pvssy-hatters. That’s what they want. Always. Divide. Divide. Divide.

8 year olds have more maturity than most adult feminists.

I thought feminism stunted women into perpetual adolescence…now I think it doesn’t get them past a whiny toddler.

  39. Roger says:

Snapper says: “Men will reach a boiling point, and women will meet a rage they have only read of in history and legend. When men, en masse, turn against them no government agency will be able to stop it.”
I doubt this will every happen. You and I may reach that boiling point, but I doubt that men “en masse” will. There will be too many turncoats, too many men who want to be the gallant defender of women, even to their own disadvantage. That’s why it’s so hard for men to win battles with women. We’re too programmed not to hurt them. The gut-level reaction of most men to a woman in distress is to help her, even if it means personal danger, but the gut-level reaction of most women to a man in distress is to worry first about her own safety (and in most cases just walk on). I suspect that such reactions go deeper than mere socialization, and might even be biologically conditioned. That’s one obstacle we’re up against in any such battle.

  40. Anchorman says:

There is a lot of fear men put in themselves in situations like this.

Fear of losing everything you built. Fear of losing your children. Fear of losing your liberty if she decides it’s time to involve police for whatever reason.

I lived with that fear. My ex still pushed the button and I lost more than half my stuff, lost joint custody, lost friends.

All of that was built on sand.

But there is freedom on the other side and a life you control. It may not always be a better life, but so much of the fear is gone.

It’s about women wanting to be free to break all the laws of God, to flout all conventional morality, and even to go against common sense in some cases, with no judgment, no constraints, and no consequences.

And very useful idiots they are indeed. The more women they suck into their nonsense, the more useless, unproductive, group-thinking morons they create to be dependent on the government for everything.

No thanks. And as someone pointed out above, don’t be distracted from the fact that there are still many good women who don’t want any part of this foolishness.

The goal is to defang men, essentially.

Women realize that the only way to get all the things they want is to get men to do it for them. The only way women can get things like the male curfew is to get men to enact and enforce it.

When you get all the way down to it, the only things that restrain men from doing pretty much whatever they want is groups of other men, and stronger men. Secondarily, a social compact that codifies what men can and cannot do, and men’s agreement to live under that compact on pain of penalty for breaking it.

Most men could rape and kill most women if they wanted to. Most husbands could rape and kill their wives if they wanted to. What restrains them at bottom are (1) that the vast majority agreed to live under a social compact that severely punishes raping and killing women; and (2) if a man does that, stronger men will deprive him of his life and liberty, and a hell of a lot of his property.

Getting all the way down to it tribally, if a man rapes and kills a woman, that’s one less woman available for sex and procreation. There are only so many women, and we need them for sex and procreation, so raping and killing women is very damaging to the tribe. So no man should be allowed to rape and kill women if for no other reason than we need every woman we can get for the men in the tribe. So, Ugg, if you kill and rape women, Ogg and Grok and Grunk and the rest of us will kill YOU, because we can’t have that.

Women use this to their advantage, and it’s fantastically successful and effective for them. They get men to do their dirty work all the time using this basic instinct men have to protect them. The only way women can restrain men is to get other men to do the restraining.

Uh…………. a “woman’s rage” means NOTHING to a man who does not care.

I see women bitching and yelling at each other (and sometimes at some Beta Bux she has on tow). Unless he is a serf or Indenture Servant, Mr. Beta CHOOSE to be there.

When I see “angry women” downtown Orlando (humongous black women with crazy hair and huge plastic nails) or north Denver (usually fat central American women), I laugh or ignore them. If they become threatening, I could easily break her jaw and teeth with a slap from back of my hand, but I chose not to do so. I know their game; I know the “justice system” from inside and out. The couple of times I had belligerent female clients, I simply started recording them and they immediately begin to back down.

I have not yet had one woman physically assault me yet (maybe because I live in a mostly Conservative 93% white suburb and because of my muscular physical attributes, maybe the FemNazis feel safer “unleashing their rage” on skinny soy-boy Betas who will run or go fetal-psoiton if they got physical??). But who knows?

The angrier they become, the less guys will see a way to appease them and will give up. Go to a college campus and go into a “feminist activism” type lecture and you will see what I mean. These are lunatics, fat, ugly, and irrational. No man, no matter how beta or compliant can appease them.

A man is in total control here. If he is willing to give in to the FemiNazi rage, he becomes her puppet. A guy like me, with options and a truly carefree attitude just laughs and walks away. Not caring (for real) is a wonderful skill all men learn between ages 30 to 35. This is probably why I feel happier today than ever before. 🙂

I believe this rage will do lasting damage to feminism, and it is obviously doing so.
Before Judge Kavanaugh, the #MeToo movement was extremely powerful. All that was needed for a man to lose his job was for a #MeToo advocate to accuse him of a crime against her. And, poof! His job is history.
Then the feminists overplayed their hands in the case against Judge K, and the whole #MeToo movement was forced to a standstill. Due process came alive, and exerted its rightful place in America’s consciousness. Despite the feminists’ mob-like behaviors, the judge was rightfully confirmed to the SCOTUS. Henceforth, any man who is accused of a sexual crime by a wanna be #MeToo candidate will have to produce more than a mere accusation.
Moreover, many women who would have been sympathetic to the #MeToo movement are speaking out ever more loudly: “We will defend our men”.

Yes women/liberals are overplaying their hand, they always have, and used to win at it every time, because we eventually backed off and let them win, or compromised away some of our ground to keep the “peace”.
They are an extremely vocal minority, leading us to division and moral ruin.
However I see change happening around me unreported by the MSM.
I got Red Pilled beginning about a year ago. I have helped to Red Pill a couple of Receptive younger men at work. I have been a tiny bit influential in the Red Pilling of many others also. Many men are ripe for the good news truth of the Red Pill, and are finding it. We as men need to begin showing each other the respect we want to receive, especially the younger men we are unofficially mentoring. They are desperate for it, and they will seek you out if you give them respect. Red Pilling the rage filled disrespected youth, is easy and as natural as older men training the younger to hunt and fight and use tools properly. You just have to be respectful of their hurt and their potential.
That being said we have to be careful to instill Godly values too, so that we don’t play into satan’s plan. If the pendulum swings back the other way, and evil men gain dominance over the women who led them away from God, will that really be as it should be? We need men to be both righteous and Red Pilled, or we’ll be fighting for a mere sex victory, hoping for others to pick up God’s standard and fight for Righteousness too. We need to keep God’s Patriarchy, and God’s headship over all of us as King of Kings firmly bound together in our doctrine.
1 Corinthians 11:3 But I would have you know, that the head of every man is Christ; and the head of the woman is the man; and the head of Christ is God.

    Paul,
    You nailed it!

The article Dalrock linked to about liberal men’s marriages is just gold. Nice to hear how these blue-pilled, liberal, fully-cucked chumps who marry feminist women are being destroyed and made miserable by their harpy wives. Just perfect!

Remember Jeff Strand Rule #1: Any man dumb enough to marry a feminist deserves all the misery he’s in for. No sympathy for him.

Want a good laugh? Check out how the crazy feminist professor who wrote the article describes these men (including her now ex-bf, who just dumped her crazy ass):

“But I knew these men—I loved one myself—and they are far from misogynistic monsters. They are far from Trump supporters. These men, on the contrary, comprise a particular slice of American males: they are men who did not vote for nor support Donald Trump, but are reticent to admit his behavior, rhetoric, and policies are as outrageous and offensive—downright threatening, maddening—as their female partners perceive them to be. These are, make no mistake, men who wholly sought us for our strength, our independence and education. The jobs we held or coveted. The degrees degreed in our name. Our passions and pursuits and our can-do, want-it-all attitudes. They work as medical researchers or in the arts, in teaching or social work. They queue up the Saturday Night Live skits that humiliate Trump, to consume with our coffee on Sunday mornings, but find it unpalatable and unpleasant that our resentment and our fears linger long into the workweek.”

“And, by the way, in the New Code of Laws which I suppose it will be necessary for you to make, I desire you would Remember the Ladies, and be more generous and favourable to them than your ancestors … Remember all Men would be tyrants if they could. If particular attention is not paid to the Ladies WE ARE DETERMINED TO FOMENT A REBELLION, AND WILL NOT HOLD OURSELVES BOUND BY ANY LAWS in which we have no Voice, or Representation.” [bold is my emphasis]

    Dalrock,

I think your are too optimistic that women are relatively soon to come around. I’ve confronted some very ‘godly’ women about their ‘mild’ feministic view of scripture and they will have nothing to do with it, exhibiting some level of anger and hostility. To give up what they have thought was yours all your life is not easy to do; they have to have a very soft heart to begin with. Women do not want to release the Illicit Authority they have had in marriage, that they have both stolen and has also been endorse to them by the shepherds of the church.

And men [I’m guilty] have not helped things by “hearkening to the voice of the woman” …empowering them.

I suggest there is still much more cutting away of the tissue, more cleaning of the wound, more pain, before any material healing begins.

This dreadful woman has so little shame or insight that she writes to justify her rage and to humiliate her husband again, this time in a medium with global reach.

A man who behaved this way would not only be arrested and charged for spousal abuse, he would never teach at a university again. Tell me again how privileged we are.

The problem with “Professor” Brown is that she has been given everything she asked for in life, and it is not enough, and she blames her husband. It reminds me of that experiment where a man agreed with everything his wife said, with the aim of improving her satisfaction with life. The experiment had to be abandoned after one week because, far from becoming happy, the wife became so furious that her husband feared for his safety.

It would be nice to think that this is the end-game of feminism, leading to a new equilibrium between the sexes, but it is not. Today’s 18-year-old women include significant numbers who are determined to fight the battles that their grandmothers won 50 years ago.

Of course nothing will make her happy, because the root of her unhappiness is her rejection of herself and how God made her. People say “Misery loves company”. So, having made herself irredeemably unhappy through self-rejection, she sets out to make everyone and everything around her unhappy in perpetuity.
It is my belief that no matter how much the society bends backwards to acquiesce to the demands of the feminist (aka The Angry and Unhappy woman), it will not be enough.

Look what happens when women get power…I’m not even sure outside of their own kids that mercy is in their DNA.
I’m not sure they even show mercy to their kids, when they would fight tooth and nail to defend the rights to abort them. And those kids who escape early termination and involuntary dismemberment in the womb are often shipped to the care of strangers in daycare, almost as soon as they are born, because the mothers have more important things to do than “waste” her life taking care of the snotty little ones.

The BBC is going to Orwellian extremes in promoting the “LGBTQ+ community”: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-6270855/BBC-issues-badges-staff-promote-LGBT-issues-bid-tackle-heteronormative-culture.html

The BBC is encouraging staff to become ‘straight allies’ of colleagues who are gay, lesbian or have other gender identities.

The move is an attempt to tackle what it calls a ‘heteronormative culture’, in which being straight is considered the norm.

To shift the balance, staff who are heterosexual but ‘actively promote’ LGBT issues will wear pin badges or use email signatures to signify that they are ‘allies’ of lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender colleagues. …

Will wearing those pins be voluntary? What happens to staff members who decline to wear those pins?

The BBC said it was taking action over fears that its ‘heteronormative culture’ left LGBT workers feeling unsupported – one of a number of concerns raised by LGBT staff, who make up 11 per cent of the workforce. …

The BBC’s training for employees on diversity, inclusion and unconscious bias will also include an LGBT section, and it will also review ‘systems and practices to ensure they are inclusive of non-binary genders’.

Its on-air portrayal of LGBT people will also be reviewed regularly to ensure that the ‘full range of fluid sexual orientations and gender identities are represented’. …

BBC bosses say they have acted to ensure they retain and attract the best LGBT talent and to appeal to a younger audience as a broadcaster.

‘In a recent YouGov survey only 51 per cent of 18 to 24-year-olds said they identified as completely heterosexual.

‘An organisation that appears to have a heteronormative culture is not one that is going to cut ice with them either as a consumer or an employee.’

Very Orwellian. Homos no longer seek tolerance. They’re turning the workplace into reeducation camps.

  76. They Call Me Tom says:

I had a random encounter with entitled feminism today. I was walking out of a restaurant with my folks a few steps behind (celebrating my dad’s 65th birthday). A fifty-something and maybe five foot tall woman walked forward head down straight at me expecting a man twice her size to give way. I planted my feet and said, “Excuse me.” She replied, “Yes, excuse me.” I waited a few moments for her to realize I wasn’t stepping out of her way and then she stepped aside. I said, “There you go.” And walked out the restaurant, satisfied.

Normally, I make room for people to get by in a crowd. I think it was that she didn’t even acknowledge that there was another human there save for herself that had me force her to give way.

  77. Dave says:

    @They Call Me Tom

Isn’t it sad that feminism has rejected common courtesy in society in the name of women’s rights? What would it have cost her to say “I’m so sorry, sir, I wasn’t looking where I was going”, and then step out of your way? In all probability, you would have been more gracious in your response to her.

Feminists have been accusing men of misogyny for a long time. This charge is patently false. There has not been a time in history when women were singled out for bad treatment by men.
What happened in the past was not misogyny, but an unchecked abuse of power by the strong against the weak, and both men and women were members of both groups.
Real misogyny is about to be unleashed in society for the first time in human history. My concern is, many apparently innocent women will be victims of this coming male push back.

I recently worked part-time at a national US bank, and the whole LGBTQ++ agenda was huge.

This is the norm in most of corporate America, with a few holdouts, such as the place where I currently work. Many years ago I worked at Hewlett Packard, and we were getting the LGB+ plus shoved down our throats as far back as the 1990’s. We were forced to attend “re-education” seminars led by butch lesbians, because we were all horrible bigots or something. Nevermind the office was diverse and cordial.

  81. feeriker says:

My husband and I watched that issue split our denomination

It never ceases to amaze me how “controversy” erupts within the church over issues that Scripture makes chrystal clear God’s position on, the issue of homosexuality being one of the most obvious. On the other hand, part of me is grateful that certain denominations have been at least honest and open in their apostasy by shamelessly embracing LBGTQwhatever, whereas others drown their (obvious) apostasy in sophistry and weaselwords).

  82. feeriker says:

To Hell with them. Many of those doe-eyed innocents didn’t lift a finger to help the men who were falsely accused of rape.

Yup. To paraphrase Edmund Burke, all it takes for evil women to prevail is for good women to do nothing. The fact that evil women are firmly in control tells us that either there really are no good women out there (at least not in any statistically meaningful numbers), or that “good” women are so little bothered by the evil in which they are awash that they couldn’t be troubled with fighting it. Either way, any female “victims” of future male backlash need simply look in the mirror to find the source of their misery. Frankly, I don’t think very many women possess the self-awareness to even perceive that there is a problem to be concerned about inghe first place, so it’s pretty much a non-issue.

If someone attacks your woman, protect her. If someone else’s woman is attacked, let him protect her. If some feral woman is attacked, let her protect herself. _I_ won’t rape feminists, but as long as _my_ family is safe, have at it. God made Woman to be under her father’s or husband’s protection and authority. Let her stay there, or let her deal with the consequences.

“Since reading the 48 laws of power, I know forgiveness is a sucker move. ”

God doesn’t forgive the unrepentant. Neither should you. Vengence is for God, not for you, so whatever it was, put it behind you and let God deal with it. Your brothers in Christ are a different matter, but they are repentant.

Earl, not all roads lead to heaven. God forgives all who come to the Son, but He doesn’t forgive all. Foolishly forgiving God’s and your enemies doesn’t make you more like God. Once God miraculously leads a former enemy to repentance, then we must join Him in forgiving.

48 Laws of Power is a book of tactics. Christians can’t use them all – some are just wrong. In order to be wise as snakes, we must be aware of those tactics, including the ones we should not use. I recommend that every Christian read it, and learn to recognize those tactics, and prayerfully decide which ones are appropriate for use.

    On the subject of rage…
I have always loved this rather obscure opus of Beethoven’s: Rage over a lost penny. This girl portrays the sentiment well, I think.

Two hilarious comments on this video:
“Whoo.. Thank God he didn’t loose (sic) a dollar.”
“Has anybody written “Relief over a spent penny”? Because I can relate to that.”
    LOL!

The ‘rage’ of feminists is not really a ‘rage’. It is quite simply a mental sickness. It is the manifestation of years of seething anger against something unknown. And then it rears its ugly head in unusual places and situations.

Look at this fine example of a ‘woman’ below. She accuses a NINE year old boy of ‘grabbing’ her behind and calls the police. CCTV later proves that a big satchel he was carrying on his back must have grazed her body as he walked past. Notice the lewd gesture she made to him or his mother.
    Imagine this.

    #Metoo gone mad. Whatever next?
Suing one’s 25 year old son for ‘historic aggravated assault’ because he kicked one during pregnancy? Are we heading in that direction now?

It is not just an American thing, I notice. A British ex pop star last week posted the face of a man on social media that she accuses of (erm…pressing something hard against her bottom) on a crowded tube in London.

  90. Hugh Mann says:

OT – I’ve mentioned before the Brit Jody Day, who had an abortion aged 20 (my education, my career!) then spent her 30s trying to conceive, failing followed by breakup, until at 44-and-a-half, she had left a bad long-term relationship and moved into a grotty London flat. “I was standing by the window, watching the rain make dusty tracks down the glass, when the traffic in the street below seemed to go silent, as if I’d put it on ‘mute’. In that moment, I became acutely aware of myself, almost as if I were an observer of the scene from outside my body. And then it came to me: it’s over. I’m never going to have a baby.”

She set up a support network, Gateway Women, for women who were childless not by choice (although many, like her, made poor decisions) – and the stories are sombre reading, real, deep pain. There are also testimonies from Christian women who, like Gladys Aylward, are waiting for that good Christian man, are hitting forty and are fearful that he either won’t come or that he’ll be too late. What can be done for such women in this dysfunctional dating world?

(I would love it if Ms Day could tour the schools and colleges telling women that fertility doesn’t last for ever, but I bet the colleges wouldn’t have her).

Meanwhile in the UK the number of headscarves pushing strollers with another two kids in tow seems to increase exponentially, while the native women are writing stuff like this:

“I can’t believe time ran out for me while I kept dating the wrong people.”

“I was with someone for 8.5yrs in my 20’s & conceived only to terminate as he was non-committal & i circumstances meant i could’t look after a child alone at the time, the relationship was over. Now i have a husband who wants a child almost as much as i do but i feel like a failure. My elderly parents are heartbroken.”

“Why didn’t I see the importance of starting a family when I was younger? I’m going to be alone and regretful for the rest of my life.”

“Ironically my last serious relationship, I broke up with him because he didn’t want kids and that was a deal breaker for me. That was 10 years ago, I was 36, thought had plenty of time. Then add nights of depression, one or two on again/off again boyfriends…and here I am 46 years old and in tears tonight.”

“I am 41 years old and married for the first time at 38. My husband is divorced and has a child. Never in my twenties or early thirties would I have thought I could not conceive… Since then I don’t want to get out of bed, I cry all the time and feel like my heart has stopped. “

“38 yrs old with no children and been with my man for 10yrs. I just had a fibroid tumor removed a week ago and ended up being cancerous. Now I need a hysterectomy. I still don’t know the stage of my cancer. Crazy thing is I don’t care about the cancer part. I am not thinking about I may die. The only thing I’ve been crying about is the fact I will never be able to bear children. I’m so heartbroken. I feel a part of me has died.”

“I have heard this notion of mourning children you will never have spoken of by Catholic priests. While they are in seminary, they are encouraged, like Jephthah’s daughter, to take the time to mourn the children they will never have (Judges 11:30-39). When I first heard this, I was 26 and the thought brought me to tears.
    Aaaaand here I sit.”

” I feel angry at myself for not thinking of having children earlier in life.”

“I cared for my professional life and ended up not having anything. I cry almost every night – for 9 months now.”

  91. Hugh Mann says:

I know it’s tempting to say “well, you should have thought about that earlier, shouldn’t you?”, but the entire education/media environment these women grow up in emphasises education (or credentials anyway), sexual pleasure, career, “having it all” – unless you have very strong parenting its hard to fight that programming.

I mean, if you’re going to be a person in my position, shouldn’t you do something like that? Instead I’m struggling to pay bills with a dead-end job that I don’t really like.

    How about one more Whammy?

My mother, who is a force of nature in her own right, helped blaze the trail for single motherhood by refusing to give me up for adoption back in the late 1960s, when most every other girl was forced to.

Fucking LOL! ‘Blazing the single motherhood trail’ guys! LOL. ‘Conquering the world’ on a floating bookstore! Moar Lullz!

    Breathing that sigh of relief!

  93. BillyS says:

God doesn’t forgive the unrepentant. Neither should you. Vengence is for God, not for you, so whatever it was, put it behind you and let God deal with it. Your brothers in Christ are a different matter, but they are repentant.

Not true, at least not all the time. Jesus asked the Father to forgive those who crucified Him. They were definitely not repenting.

[2Co 5:19 NKJV] 19 that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.

This clearly says God is not holding specific sins against people now. It is whether they accept or reject what Jesus did that determines where they go after death. Rewards/punishments after that will depend upon actions in this life, but that is another topic.

I have been wrestling with this very topic quite a while recently. Part of the challenge is what “forgiveness” means. Holding someone to account does not necessarily mean you have not forgiven them. Letting yourself be consumed with unforgiveness and its fruits is not good for you or anyone else, however just that may seem.

  94. earl says:

‘Foolishly forgiving God’s and your enemies doesn’t make you more like God.’

The premise is the concept of forgiveness is foolishness…it’s not. Repentence is our part…forgiveness & mercy is God’s.

  95. earl says:

    @Billy…

I think a lot of people get repentence, forgiveness, and reconciliation confused.

A person can still forgive an offense even if the offender shows no repentence…and that doesn’t mean a reconciliation must occur or justice is negated.

  96. BillyS says:

    That is true Earl.

I do see Jesus holding members of His Church accountable in the letters in Revelation (chapters 2 and 3) as well as Paul holding people like Alexander the Silversmith accountable, so the sloppy forgiveness many preach is not completely accurate.

Though what does it mean to forgive someone? Especially the unrepentant? That is the $64,000 question, as an old show said.

  97. feeriker says:

(I would love it if Ms Day could tour the schools and colleges telling women that fertility doesn’t last for ever, but I bet the colleges wouldn’t have her).

That would require a woman to:

    1. understand cause and effect, and

    2. own up to her moronic decisions, acknowledge the consequences thereof, and place blame for it all squarely on the woman in the mirror where it belongs.

I think it’s safe to say that there are greater odds of the earth suddenly stopping and reversing its rotational direction than of either of these things happening.

And yes, you’re of course absolutely correct; not only would no college (in the UK or any other western country) not invite her to speak, they’d have her arrested the second she tried to speak common sense.

  98. Chris says:

On the issue of what it means to forgive someone [unrepentant], I think the answer partially lies in what’s being forgiven. Forgiving an offense is different than forgiving the offender who committed the offense. I believe reconciliation would be necessary in the latter case but not in the former.

Does anyone find it interesting that not too long ago, there was push back in the media over the alleged anger of white men?

  99. Frank K says:

Meanwhile in the UK the number of headscarves pushing strollers with another two kids in tow seems to increase exponentially

This was painfully evident when I was in London last year. Also, when at museums there were the ubiquitous school field trips present. The number of Islamic children (judging by the number of head scarves) in the school groups was simply staggering. Britain is lost, it’s only a matter of time before it becomes an Islamic state. Some of us on this forum will live to see it happen. St. Paul’s, where I attended Evensong, will someday be a mosque.

  100. Spike says:

One thing I would advise my young self, if I could, and any young men now:

NEVER tread on eggshells around women.Don’t tip-toe around their bad moods. Don’t listen to their whines. Don’t accept their rages. Don’t allow yourself to get yelled at. Such behavior is unacceptable. Women don’t accept it from men. Why should it be vice-versa?
Women say, regarding abortion: “Women’s body, women’s choice”. Okay. How about this: ”Women’s rage, women’s problem”?
You don’t accept it, because if you do accept it, it only makes matters worse.

A skydiver died after her parachute failed to open during her jump at the Skydive Lodi Parachute Center in Northern California on Sunday, according to KTLA sister station KTXL in Sacramento.

Federal Aviation Administration investigators will be looking into the parachute used since its malfunction caused the skydiver’s death, according to the agency. The FAA said she was using her own equipment.

  103. Paul says:

Regarding birth rates: Pew Research made estimates on the growth of the Muslim population in Europe by 2050. Fertility rates:

The net result is in increase in the percentage of muslims, in large part because western women are not getting less and less children

    http://www.pewforum.org/2017/11/29/europes-growing-muslim-population/pf_11-29-17_muslims-update-00/

Western civilization is under severe threat, both from the outside, as well as from the inside (as this site clearly documents). Rodney Stark showed that Western Civilization is Christian Civilization, hence weaker Christianity will result in weaker civilization.

The fact that many childless women now come to the realization they’ve followed illusions and have been lied to, also shows how popular culture has been infested with anti-Christian values, which are detrimental to us all. This culture has even infested the churches, to the point that it is extremely difficult to live a life as a dedicated Christian husband.

We’re moving into terrible times fast.

  104. Paul says:

    Missing picture:

  105. earl says:

The breakup of families through easy divorce (initiated often by women) abortion, contraception, and women going childless will certainly ruin any civilization.

  106. Paul says:

“Estimates do not include those asylum seekers who are not expected to gain legal status to remain in Europe”

We all know that European politicians refuse to deal with illegal immigrants, hence we should ADD those numbers too.

Furthermore there are official policies to allow for family reunions. The majority of (illegal) immigrants are young men, and thus will be allowed to import their (so-called?) wives and children. I expect that this is not included in the immigration figures. I therefore expect a multiplication factor on the number of immigrants of about 4 due to family reunions.

Therefore I think Pew severely underestimates these numbers.

  109. Leewillie Minifees says:

It is whether they accept or reject what Jesus did that determines where they go after death.

Absolutely not. Faith is not about “acceptance”, faith is about trust.

Remember, even the demons believe, yet shudder.

  110. Paul says:

    @Leewillie

    “faith is about trust”

Yes it is, but some people use different language to express the same idea. But we also have

Rom 10 if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation..

The comparison with the demons (James 2: You believe that there is one God. You do well. Even the demons believe—and tremble!), is not talking about the same kind of belief. And Jesus’ sacrifice is given for humans, that’s why He incarnated.

I fully agree that for day-to-day living we should increasingly put our trust in Jesus for everything, and thus we will grow in faith.

The problem I’ve always found with girls is that they put way too much stock in emotional turmoil. Everybody has emotional crises, male and female. But only women will break up with someone after having a dream about them cheating.. That’s what causes me to laugh in their face when they get like this. I’m not insensitive about it, but i just can’t take it seriously. And usually after they’ve run out of steam, logic can be applied, you can walk them through the situation from your perspective and things go back to normal. Just don’t forget to tell her you forgive her for that.

  113. imnobody00 says:

    @Jonadab-the-Rechabite

“Nearly every woman in North America lives better than 15 centuries of royality. Instead of gratitude they have chosen grievance.”

They live better IN THE MATERIAL PART OF THEIR LIVES. But emotionally and spiritually, they are a mess. They are herd animals and everybody has told them that they should be like men, they should be independent from men, they should flee the domestic life, they shouldn’t obey God. It is like a fish was told to get out from the water and to be a lion. They are completely unhappy.

Now, when they try to explain their unhappiness, they cannot blame feminism because everybody tells them that feminism is fantastic and they are herd animals. They cannot blame themselves, because female nature is completely unable of handling that. So who are going to blame? Men, obviously! The patriarchy, the oppression.

This is where the grievance comes from. It is not that they are angered because they care about the sisterhood. They don’t care about other women. They are angered because their personal life is a mess and they project their insatisfaction in the political arena. They think that the blame of all their personal failures and insatisfaction is somebody else, so it must be the patriarchy. So kill Kavanaugh.

(I describe feral women. Women can be taught to be rational but it takes that they are raised that way, which is increasingly rare).

feeriker, re: your quoting of Burke:
I urge you to consider the 5:53 pm comment of Hugh Mann, about “the entire education/media environment”.
That environment makes very costly, the sort of fighting that you critique them for ducking, e.g. when you refer to most of them not possessing “the self-awareness to even perceive that there is a problem”.
I, for one, will have some sympathy for those women who were caught up in a tidal wave, and didn’t know what make of it, or what to do about it.
I’ll save my ire for the women (and men) who actively aided this tidal-wave.

Part of the tragedy of current feminist doctrine is, that it seems to actively suppress the sort of enhanced self-awareness, which was arguably the hallmark of pre-feminism women (contrasted with the alleged lack of self-awareness, among pre-feminism men).

  115. aNanyMouse says:

Yeah, imnobody00, when a fish is told to get out from the water and to be a lion, it needs to be taught how to do so.

It may or may not have happened as she describes. But how extraordinary that she posts a pic of him already to the whole world. No trial, no jury, he is already guilty.
    Extraordinary!”

    @imnobody00

You are exactly right that the personal lives of most protesters and activists are a mess. Even just photos from an event show that many of them appear unemployable, socially unacceptable, and irrational. And who has energy, interest, and time for pointless marches and protests if they are happy and productive?

My husband and I believe that most of these people are filling the need for God in their lives by being “good”—caring for animals as much as for people, standing up for the “rights” of whatever victimized group of the week we’re protecting now, “speaking out” for whatever new cause is sweeping social media. For many, it’s an escape from the reality of the shambles of their lives and a feeling that they are part of something important. They lack meaningful connections with actual people in their lives and instead follow celebrities and other lost souls as they unite for some cause that makes them feel important, enlightened, and superior.

And always follow the money. The people behind all of these causes don’t really want the “problems” fixed, because their livelihoods depend on them. I think that’s how we end up with ridiculous concepts like “microaggressions,” to keep the money train, er, I mean the ball rolling. There always has to be something stirred up to mobilize the idiots.

And it’s all so obvious, the manipulation, that one’s jaw drops to think of just how stupid these people have to be to have succumbed to it. “Marching morons” is indeed an apt term for this majority (thank you, Cyril Kornbluth, for popularizing the term, even if it didn’t originate with you).

  123. Jean says:

When interviews at rallies let us hear what the “marching morons” have to say about their causes in their own words, you don’t have to administer an IQ test to realize they aren’t Mensa material. Frightening to realize they vote.
