Rules for dating the candidate’s daughter.

Kemp is running for Governor in Georgia, but I think the same message would go over well in Texas.

I followed a paintball magazine some years ago that had a policy of never taking pictures “down the barrel”, with the marker pointing at the camera. Their reasoning was that even though they knew the marker was unloaded, it’s bad practice to go around pointing projectile weapons at people. Provoking an emotional reaction from their readers with a threatening picture wasn’t worth it to them. It was a classy move and made them stand out from other extreme-sports magazines.

I see this candidate for governor pointing a shotgun at a kid and think, does he know the first rule of firearm safety?

  3. DrTorch says:

I see this candidate for governor pointing a shotgun at a kid and think, does he know the first rule of firearm safety?

Yup. Even though it may have been slightly angled away from the kid, the perception is that it’s at him, and that’s ridiculous.

I get the joke, and I’m sure the kid was just playing along. But the joke is tired, and this setting sends too many bad messages.

  4. This is a man who thinks the “Rules for Dating a Drill Instructor’s Daughter” are rational.

If his daughter has spirit, this film of the young man intimidated by her father put him in the FriendZone. She’ll find someone who would smile at the Dad, wait until the cameras were running, and said that this man fondling his manhood is a lunatic.

  5. Anonymous Reader says:

    A. Not sure how well this is actually playing in urban Georgia.

    B. Quite possible the daughters can’t wait to get out of Daddy’s house. Permanently.

    C. Looks like a Rule #2 violation in the last 15 seconds, but it could just be the camera angle. Reminds me why I don’t go to gun shows much any more.

    D. Of course the real question is this: who can lift more, the daughter or the young man?

Even in college I was in a play where I had to point a “rifle” at someone.

I would NOT do this UNLESS the pins and firing mechanism was REMOVED from the rifle..

Rule ONE. NEVER. NEVER. NEVER point a weapon (hand-gun, rifle, shotgun) at ANYONE unless you plan to KILL them.

NO EXCPETIONS. NO JOKE. NO WHATEVER.

Any man that did this in real life about “his daughter” would be in jail. These types of putzs who claim this….ifsome man did this to THEIR SON concerning another man’s daughter………he would call the police

It looks like they were careful not to make it a technical violation, but at the same time the ad doesn’t work unless you get the perception of the gun pointed at the young man. I think they put some thought into how close they could get to the line. The choice of a side by side shotgun gives it a more genteel effect. The rag is just enough cover to argue that he was cleaning the shotgun. And the muzzle is carefully pointed just close enough to the young man when he closes the action that it gives the impression of being pointed at him without technically being pointed at him.

Much like the kid in the previous story could sue the mangina father for libel…I wonder if AMOG dad pointing a gun or threatening violence against a suitor could be a legal rammification for the buffoon.

Look, I get that these father’s are playing the ol’ Biblical role of protecting you daughters’ chastity, etc. But, these are the same fathers who will send their daughters unchaperoned to college to become pansexual whores. It’s Churchian virtue signaling, nothing more.

Or puts them on the pill…you know, just in case.

Churchian fathers don’t protect their chastity anymore than a faulty lock protects a house.

  15. seventiesjason says:

Knew a “devout” Catholic woman when I was at IBM………..she was “old school” and was in her fifties at trhe time; and would explain to folks like me that “I was goin’ to hell ’cause I wasn’t a Catholic”

I was a cultural Christian at the time

So her daughter gets married……and then in casula conversation she mentioned “Well, her husband is still in college, and she’s starting her career…..so they agreed thaty she is goin on “the pill” because you know…..they are not ‘ready’ to have children…..”

She THEN states “Well, the Vatican can sell all that gold they have to help people like them out who are not financially ready to have children…so that’s why its okay for her to be on the pill.”

She THEN mentioned that “Since I am not a Catholic, I have to be ready for an eternity in hell because God is a Catholic”

Kind of like this guy in the video clip with the shotgun. He’s sooooo “bold” for his faith and being a protective and ‘biblical’ dad to his daughter…….yet when she runs off with the drummer or steel guitar player in a band (its the South right?) it will somehow be “God’s will” or some biblicalese justifying her “choices”

  16. earl says:

    @Jason

Curious…did she go the whole ‘you’re not a Catholic’ route because you objected about the birth control?

She might want to read Humanae Vitae to see what the Vatican states about birth control. That whole selling gold nonsense is to cover up the fact she knows it’s wrong. Now if she ran into me (a Catholic) you better bet I’d bring that up. Then she couldn’t use that hell excuse.

I’d call the pill one of if not THE foundation of current feminism. They can have their alpha sex and career too without the consequences (until the oops) of pregnancy.

  17. earl says:

I’d also argue….what married couple is ever ‘ready’ for children? Even the so call prepared ones?

It’s all about selfishness and wanting to have it all with the pill. To have sex and using artifical means to not have procreation as an option. Either you get married and you accept children as they come from God while working around career and education…or don’t get married and focus on your education/career.

  23. feministhater says:

Both feminism and traditional conservatives both want to give women full autonomy but still need to provide the protection necessary for her to make her decisions and be safe from the consequences thereof. The liberal feminist wants the state to do the protecting and the tradcon wants the father or husband to do so. Both the tenants of their belief systems are still 100% aligned when it comes to the woman’s full autonomy and releasing her from responsibility and consequences.

Whilst this tradcon thinks it’s his duty to protect and thereby shoot any man who doesn’t do right by his daughter, the feminist thinks it’s the states duty to jail or financially destroy any man who doesn’t do right by feminist standards. There really isn’t a big difference. Only the method differs, the outcome is the same.

  24. earl says:

You KNOW not all Christians are against birth control, especially around here, why trigger?

Well first off before this topic goes off road…are you talking about Christians not being against all birth control, or Christians not being against artifical birth control?

I’ve hit that subject before…and I’m talking about being against artifical means.

  25. feministhater says:

They never point out what happens if the man courting the daughter is also a supporter of 2nd Amendment Rights and carries his own weapon. Is this meant to be a duel of sorts? Prove your mettle by removing daddy from the picture, is that about right?

Secondly, what about when she goes off to college? By definition, the cuckservative father is not around, so she can slut it up.

  29. Cane Caldo says:

One of the invisible levers underneath this puppet show is the idea that a man (in this case a father) can still get another man’s (the date’s) respect. It’s still allowed. What is NOT allowed is for a woman–even a daughter–to actually respect a man.

In the previous thread c0l0nelp0pc0rn said a man has no business telling a woman she’s slutty. Why? Because he understands that in the modern world women aren’t supposed to respect men, so what is the point? A disrespected man can only have said something vulgar.

The young man in this ad probably doesn’t feel disrespected. He probably feels included into a respected circle because at least he can play and win this game with the girlfriend’s father. He probably doesn’t yet know that he cannot win it with her. The father does though. The father knows that the only way he can play a pleasant game with the daughter is to never tell her no.

I didn’t see a pic of her on Kemp’s election website, which is as hard as I want to push to involve a third party. But check this out from his bio:

“Kemp, 53, is married to the former Marty Argo of Athens. They are the proud parents of three daughters and are active members of Emmanuel Episcopal Church.”

    http://www.kempforgovernor.com/about

He’s an Episcopal DODO whose wife apparently kept her last name. Her first name is… Marty?

  31. Cane Caldo says:

Forget the gun. Re-watch the ad and imagine that the father is trying to get his daughter to obediently recite her father’s talking-points.

That’s a comedy, right? That ends with everyone laughing at the father because his daughter either won’t get on-board, or–more likely–the focus would be how pretty and smart and sassy she is *all on her own* rather than how respectful (obedient) she is. There’s no believable way to film her being respectful because we don’t believe in it.

I got that from Kemp’s election website, as quoted. Most men don’t bring up their wife’s maiden name in a brief bio unless she’s still using it in public. Digging deeper, she does appear to go by her married name.

  43. Otto Lamp says:

    @archerwfisher,

There were 7 candidates on the Republican ballot. Cagle was the frontrunner/establishment candidate with all the money behind him. So, you can look at it as 61% voted for the non-establishment.

If Kemp can portray himself as the anti-establishment/outsider candidate, he has a legit chance to win the runoff.

  44. Scott says:

Cane has hit the nail on the head with his comment.

My boys are not old enough yet, but I will be using the mental and moral framework behind what Cane has pointed as the basis for my advice to them.

If you find a girl you like, and she has a father like this, be cautious my son. This man’s clown show is so unconvincing. Even in the presence of a very young man, which any 40 year old should be able to intimidate with a simple look in the eye and a firm handshake, he fails to demonstrate a believable frame of dominance. And so he pretends to be tough with a stupid gun, which he will never use an anyone. Everyone can see right through his dumb show.

This man’s daughter has lived a life of total unaccountably. She has never been confronted with the realities and moral challenges that face women, just because they are women. No matter how beautiful she is, you will be burdened you whole life with trying to demonstrate the basic facts of life to her. The simplist ideas of cause and effect, right and wrong, introspection, self-reflection, self-control, deference to authority, and on and on–forever.

You also will inherit this man as extended family who will never cease to clown like this for his daughter. The first time you hurt her feelings she will run home. And her parents, who should say to her “go home to your husband. He is in charge now,” will run moral cover for her, whatever she decides to do to you.

There is nothing ‘anti-establishment’ about a cartoonish whiteknight father. That is about as establishment as you can get.

Any voters who think otherwise are pathetic cuckservatives who are dragged along by the Overton window much like how a carjacking victim caught in a seatbelt gets dragged on the outside of a car.

  46. Boxer says:

That’s exactly right. The great trick of the system is setting up harmless ideological counterexamples, like this buffoon. He is an antifeminist only in name, and in fact is the tamer and more domesticated than most liberal soyboys. Real rebellion is impossible for whiteknights like this. The status quo pretends to be irritated by him, only to further the illusion of rebellion without ever having to question feminist values.

  47. earl says:

Femerica is so deep into the feminist state in order to be ‘anti-establishment’ you have to say things like ‘that dress she’s wearing makes her look like a slut’ or ‘my daughter, stay chaste until marriage’.

The dowry system, for all its flaws and occasional abuses, prevented situations like this. The dowry was effectively a security deposit against this sort of female behavior. If she leaves, she forfeits the deposit (and the children stay with the father partly because the deposit is there). That is why the system existed. Maybe 5% of men abused this system back in the day vs. the 70+% of women who abuse the current Marriage 2.0 laws.

Does this God think only male infants carry original sin and deserver death?
Why not kill all the politicians that were causing the slavery problem?

The answer(s) better be damn good or I’m call it out.

Maybe it’s related to the male lions killing the cubs of other lions and taking the bitches.
Maybe this is God’s order for all us animals.

I watched that entire video. I want my 8 minutes back, but I get it. The dominant frame is to qualify for a woman’s intimacy at all times. However, cuckservatives are going have a much harder time selling the juice when the squeeze cost has skyrocketed since the sexual revolution. I dread the next five years, when the wailing of spinsters and cat ladies is broadcast in my direction for being single and successful. I’d like to find a unicorn or a woman I can tame and keep a handle on, but barring that I hope I can just avoid notice altogether.

And when you factor in that many young women don’t get the older-male acceptance at home (because he isn’t there), they get it where they can at a very reasonable cost, that they are more than willing to pay…

You are so right. I’ve lived that. My father-in-law was 3 for 3 at raising spoiled whore daughters. He told me once he would kill me if I ever made his daughter cry again. In addition to her Intimacy Anorexia, his daughter has a couple of court recognized diagnosed mood disorders, and a diagnosed thought disorder, and will cry to anybody who is capable of being duped into white knighting by her crocodile tears. If her father hadn’t proven himself to be such an impotent imbecile I’d have concern. Twice they have aided her in absconding with my sons. And her family has coached her to divorce me from the moment they found out I didn’t practice female headship like they all do. There is no amount of evil against me that she cannot get them to cheer on and provide moral cover for. And they have been meddling in our relationship with horrible results since day one. If divorce has a silver lining, it will be that I can claim I’m no relation to that depraved crew, if and when they achieve their 15 minutes of fame making clowns of themselves on the Jerry Springer Show.

freebird — “The Angel of Death Passover thing, why did God kill just the first born males?
Why not the first born, period?”

First, the LORD didn’t kill any of them directly, until nine prior plagues were ignored, and the enslavement of ISRAEL continued. And although you are ‘tired of the religious stuff’, God (who created you and allows you your next breath) is not weary of it.

Second, He struck EGYPT and its PHAROAH, and yes it’s religious stuff and yes, it matters, a whole lot.

Next, to understand this decision, it’s necessary to know certain things about ancient Egyptian culture, and ancient cultures in general, including the common practice of primogeniture. A strike on daughters wouldn’t have had nearly the effect. To slay all the firstborn crushes future PLANNED leadership in such a nation, and in addition the spiritual powers (local territorial angels) were punished at the same time. The attacks on two fronts decimated that satanic empire. Course that didn’t stop the punk he kept it up until his army was annihilated.

“For I will pass through the land of Egypt this night, and will smite all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, both man and beast; and against all the gods of Egypt I will execute judgment: I am the Lord.”

Back in the 1990s, I attended a Method Acting class. One actress demonstrated that she could cry on cue. She could be happy and smiling, then with the snap of the teacher’s finger, she’d cry real tears. She looked truly distraught, red faced, etc. She could also stop crying on cue.

I spoke to her afterwards. She happily told me that crying comes easy for her. She could cry at any time, for any reason or no reason.

PERHAPS the sentiments contained in the following pages, are not yet sufficiently fashionable to procure them general favor; a long habit of not thinking a thing wrong, gives it a superficial appearance of being right, and raises at first a formidable outcry in defence of custom. But tumult soon subsides. Time makes more converts than reason. As a long and violent abuse of power, is generally the Means of calling the right of it in question (and in Matters too which might never have been thought of, had not the Sufferers been aggravated into the inquiry)…
Who the Author of this Production is, is wholly unnecessary to the Public, as the Object for Attention is the Doctrine itself, not the Man. Yet it may not be unnecessary to say, That he is unconnected with any Party, and under no sort of Influence public or private, but the influence of reason and principle.
SOME writers have so confounded society with government, as to leave little or no distinction between them; whereas they are not only different, but have different origins. Society is produced by our wants, and government by our wickedness; the former promotes our happiness positively by uniting our affections, the latter negatively by restraining our vices. The one encourages intercourse, the other creates distinctions. The first is a patron, the last a punisher. Society in every state is a blessing, but government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worst state an intolerable one…
Government by kings was first introduced into the world by the Heathens, from whom the children of Israel copied the custom. It was the most prosperous invention the Devil ever set on foot for the promotion of idolatry. The Heathens paid divine honors to their deceased kings, and the christian world hath improved on the plan by doing the same to their living ones. How impious is the title of sacred majesty applied to a worm, who in the midst of his splendor is crumbling into dust! …
Monarchy is ranked in scripture as one of the sins of the Jews, for which a curse in reserve is denounced against them. The history of that transaction is worth attending to. The children of Israel being oppressed by the Midianites, Gideon marched against them with a small army, and victory, thro’ the divine interposition, decided in his favor. The Jews elate with success, and attributing it to the generalship of Gideon, proposed making him a king, saying, Rule thou over us, thou and thy son and thy son’s son. Here was temptation in its fullest extent; not a kingdom only, but an hereditary one, but Gideon in the piety of his soul replied, I will not rule over you, neither shall my son rule over you, THE LORD SHALL RULE OVER YOU. Words need not be more explicit; Gideon doth not decline the honor, but denieth their right to give it; neither doth he compliment them with invented declarations of his thanks, but in the positive stile of a prophet charges them with disaffection to their proper Sovereign, the King of heaven.

Thomas Paine was a deist who did not believe the Christian religion or any other religion to be from God. However Our nation had such a Christian culture then that a great deal of his arguments are, of necessity, straight out of the Bible. Oddly, our culture is so non-Christian now, that in the stupid video I am commenting about above, the “Preacher” never mentions the Bible doctrines about the subject he is instead addressing with his own personal opinions. Sad!

    @ Ray

Good explanation. Here’s another piece of the puzzle.

Each ot the ten plagues was designed to demonstrate God’s sovereignty, and to reveal that Egypt’s gods were counterfeits.

Pharaoh was supposed to be the earthly embodiment of the god Rah. Pharaoh’s first born son – the future Pharaoh – was supposed to become the earthly embodiment of the god Rah. By striking down Pharaoh’s first born son, along with the first born sons of EVERY Egyptian, down to the lowliest slave, God was demonstrating that Pharaoh was a counterfeit god, mere flesh and blood, no more divine than the lowliest slave.

They were in packs of eight to ten each……………raunchy and sad the whole lot of them

Wonder what “Mr. Conservative” in the campaign ads above would think about his daughter behaving like this in a club, at a kegger behind the colllege campus in the corn field?

The cleaning the gun only applies to the actual “nice guy” because he will be intimidated for the most part. Most guys his daughters age don’t and won’t care.

  75. I am a DODO (dad of daughter(s) only.) As a DODO I see the humor here, but it is entirely misplaced. A DODO dad should be smart enough to acknowledge the fact that IF the young man wants to date my daughter and I know about it (he comes by to pick her up, they don’t just meet in parking lot somewhere to make out) then you are probably not going to have too many problems with the boy. He’s probably sincere. That said, young people don’t do much dating anymore. I think they just use social media and hang out (in groups) more than anything.

Video footage from a Texas state trooper’s body camera refuted sexual-assault claims a woman made against the trooper after she was pulled over for allegedly driving while intoxicated, CBS Dallas station KTVT reports. Sherita Dixon-Cole, 37, accused the trooper of raping her during the traffic stop south of Dallas over the weekend.

    Thank you Opus.

I know the Catholic church is one of the few churches that has it outlined in dogma that it is against artifical birth control and calls it a grave sin to take.

Back in 1968 Pope Paul VI outined a prophecy of sorts when it came to the pill and it’s pretty much all come to fruition. What was certainly surprising was the state response butting into marriage he pointed out. The connection between the pill and no-fault is something that might need to be researched about. But hey he didn’t sell gold to feed the children so that somehow justifies women preventing pregnancy from sex.

    http://w2.vatican.va/content/paul-vi/en/encyclicals/documents/hf_p-vi_enc_25071968_humanae-vitae.html

    Consequences of Artificial Methods

    17. Responsible men can become more deeply convinced of the truth of the doctrine laid down by the Church on this issue if they reflect on the consequences of methods and plans for artificial birth control. Let them first consider how easily this course of action could open wide the way for marital infidelity and a general lowering of moral standards. Not much experience is needed to be fully aware of human weakness and to understand that human beings—and especially the young, who are so exposed to temptation—need incentives to keep the moral law, and it is an evil thing to make it easy for them to break that law. Another effect that gives cause for alarm is that a man who grows accustomed to the use of contraceptive methods may forget the reverence due to a woman, and, disregarding her physical and emotional equilibrium, reduce her to being a mere instrument for the satisfaction of his own desires, no longer considering her as his partner whom he should surround with care and affection.

Finally, careful consideration should be given to the danger of this power passing into the hands of those public authorities who care little for the precepts of the moral law. Who will blame a government which in its attempt to resolve the problems affecting an entire country resorts to the same measures as are regarded as lawful by married people in the solution of a particular family difficulty? Who will prevent public authorities from favoring those contraceptive methods which they consider more effective? Should they regard this as necessary, they may even impose their use on everyone. It could well happen, therefore, that when people, either individually or in family or social life, experience the inherent difficulties of the divine law and are determined to avoid them, they may give into the hands of public authorities the power to intervene in the most personal and intimate responsibility of husband and wife.

  83. earl says:

    @Oscar and others….

The cop was lucky he had video proof, however this serves as a lesson. The more evil and depraved women become in this sick society, the more they are going to try to lie or blame their rebellious ways on whichever man is closest. A sexual assault claim to try and cover up her DUI…talk about sick in the head. With the legions of white knight men who still don’t get it and believe whatever a woman says…men will have to take measures to protect themselves from these Medusas.

And their lies will come from the three headed monster…he’s either a racist, a rapist, or a sexist.

  84. Red Pill Latecomer says:

The penalty for a false rape accusation should be identical to what a rapist would have gotten if the accusation had been true.

Feminists (and tradcons) would never go for that, because, they say, it would disincentivize women from filing rape charges.

  85. earl says:

The horrible women still need their selling wolf tickets option. And continue to ruin it for all women who actually do have a wolf come in.

  86. Oscar says:

    http://michellemalkin.com/2018/05/10/daniel-holtzclaw-update-innocence-community-in-new-york-weighs-in/

  87. Feminists (and tradcons) would never go for that, because, they say, it would disincentivize women from filing rape charges.

This is why this question needs to be asked, in public debate, over and over. What do you do with a woman who falsely claims she was raped and society KNOWS she lied about it? What should the penalty be? The tradcon and the feminist will be allies and say that you can’t punish her because it would disincentivize women from filing rape charges and then that would be it. But you need to repeat the question: what do you do with these women who lie about being raped? What should secular government do to them? Keep asking that question over and over. Eventually, the feminist will have to dignify the question and be honest about it. She will say… “NOTHING!” That is what she is thinking, nothing should be done. But red pill people must FORCE her to say that to demonstrate just why feminism IS cancer.

  88. Anon says:

I have often said that our civilization has two faultlines. These are a) the child support/custody laws, and b) the due process for rape accusations. No other two laws are nearly as unfair and civilization-destroying. They are the asbestos fiber in the lungs of civilization.

How we get out of these two dangers (or not) will determine whether civilization (not just ours, but others as well) actually progresses or whether it is a cyclical phenomenon that rises and falls in inverse proportion to the level of power women have.

Whenever I pass through U.S. college towns, I find the exact same scene on Friday and Saturday nights: feral packs of six or seven college ‘girls’ — the innocent little princesses that Kommandant Kemp is waving his shotgun over to ‘protect’ — running loose on the town streets, all dressed in the SAME outfits. Extremely short-shorts, often denim, skimpy tops, F-me boots, and tremendously arrogant, swaggering, privileged attitudes. They are absolutely predatory and vile.

THIS is what the United Sisterhood and her DODO guardians are Standing Tall in protection of. What a joke it all is. These punks have been lying to themselves about their precious sluts for four decades now. It wasn’t enough for traitors to God and nation like Kemp to replace the nation’s boys and men in education/employment with his Precious Princesses . . . he and his nation must also pretend the entitled, uber-empowered little monsters are somehow Constantly At Risk from them Evil Males. Well not Kommandant Kemp and his fellow castrati . . . those OTHER males. The bad ones. THEY are the ones Ms. Amerika needs to come down on even HARDER. Fnu Mnu Lnu,

Since you are hell bent on ensuring that your daughter does not land a husband, you are going to have to financially support her after she is 40 (i.e. when you are old). If your money gets tight, you will have to honorably let her adjust your medication regimen so that you can end your life and not consume the funds that will enable her to subsist longer. Remember, your daughter’s love for you is conditional on her living standard not going down on your account.

  93. ray says:

    Oscar —

Absolutely. The deified nature, and future, of pharaoh was the entire point of ALL Egyptian life. Like it’s spiritual opposite, Israel, ancient Egypt’s complex culture was totally religious, with pharaoh invested with the spirit of Rah (a demon, probably one assigned permanently to Egypt).

Pharaoh travels both infernally and astronomically/celestially, and completes physical resurrection at a future time. Which, my guess, would be purty quick here, given improving DNA backtrace capabilities and related factors.

So, as you pointed out, the LORD and His servants shoved it in the faces of Egypt’s pharaoh, religion/way of life, and FUTURE as pharaoh’s first-born son already was consecrated as a host for his daddy’s demon. Simultaneously, the Egyptians and proximate nations took a hint about the relative power of Egypt’s deity and religion.

The escape of Israel also was satisfying. :O)

  97. Oscar says:

    Ray,

I hadn’t considered the possibility that the Pharaohs were actually possessed father-to-son by a demon called Rah. There are stranger mysteries in the Bible, so I can’t discount that idea. Besides, that would explain why the Pharaohs continued the practice of marrying brother-to-sister, and new Pharaohs of different ethnicities (like the Ptolemies) picked up the practice, even when it left them looking like this.

    King Tut (supposedly).

  98. Fnu Mnu Lnu says:

Well, she has been arrested but not yet convicted.

Unfortunately a lot of prosecutors are hesitant to charge someone who files a false complaint. Their position is that it might keep a legitimate victim from coming forward, for fear of being charged.

That is really just a crock, and emboldens people to play the system to hurt others, with little fear of repercussions for their lies.

  99. ray says:

Oscar — “Ray, I hadn’t considered the possibility that the Pharaohs were actually possessed father-to-son by a demon called Rah.”

Not unusual. God’s firstborn (angels) often are capable of influencing or possessing human beings. Sometimes they incarnate via birth and walk as humans. Sometimes they influence, sometimes they possess fully, as will be the case with the (present) Anti-Christ, who takes over the controls of an already born human. The humans change with the generations, but the discarnate spirits remain intact and in place over nations.

You recall the fight for the mind of Cyrus that is described in Daniel? This goes on all the time on this planet. The contention was about whether Cyrus would be influenced to certify the 2nd Temple, or not. Obviously the Lord’s servant-angels wanted that Temple certified and built, for many reasons, chiefly because eventually it’d become the Temple in which the King of men and angels would walk, teach, etc. Satan wasn’t much into that.

All postdiluvian territories (roughly corresponding to nations) were placed under rule of assigned angels, who remain at this moment. Egypt, no exception — the local idols usually were interpretations of the angels/demons assigned to a particular locale and people. The demon that animated and controlled, for example, Jezebel, is currently very active in the West, based in America. The demon of ancient Babylon . . . likewise.

Closely examining a people, their culture, and current mores/laws/practices provides much inferable information about the nature and temperament of each territorial spirit. They have individual personalities and wills, remember.

During the First Exodus (physical and tribal), the LORD expressly mentioned punishment of such territorial demons in the Egyptian empire of that time. Our time is the hour of the Second Exodus, global and mostly spiritual, which Scripture describes broadly as ‘coming out of Babylon’.

I got that from Kemp’s election website, as quoted. Most men don’t bring up their wife’s maiden name in a brief bio unless she’s still using it in public.

Nope. In the context, when using the “formerly” it is explicitly clarifying the maiden name (and her family) for the fact that she does go by her married name.

May be more common in the south, where the tradition of knowing which family you come from is held more highly.

He learned too late that apparently other men have firearms too and don’t like it when you pull yours on them. Let’s hope Brian doesn’t have to learn this the hard way like the victim of the plaintiff now released back into our society did.
